What do you do when it is difficult to focus manually? (XF305/XF300)
Solution
You can use the peaking (to create a clearer contrast by emphasizing the outlines of the subject) and magnification functions to help you focus more accurately. You can also use both functions simultaneously.
The camcorder can also display an edge monitor to help you focus more easily.

REFERENCE
While the peaking and magnification display functions are being used, you can select [Other Functions] -> [Custom Function] -> [F. Assist. B&W] to make the screen automatically switch to black & white. For details on how to perform this operation, please see the camcorder’s instruction manual.
