For All MAXIFY Models:

An installed ink tank cannot be removed until the message to replace it is displayed. Print speed becomes slower for the sake of preventing damage to a print head when ink draws to an end (after displaying the ink low message). When scanning or copying a certain volume of documents continuously from the ADF, the printer may switch to ‘waiting mode’ in which paper feeding stops for several tens of seconds after each scan, in order to prohibit overheating of the paper feeding mechanism of the ADF. The timing of the ‘waiting mode’ may vary depending on scan settings, such as colour/mono, resolution and so on. In case of the default settings (scan or copy in colour, 300 dpi), the printer switches to ‘waiting mode’ after Approx. 80 A4 (21.0x29.7 cm) sheets of paper feeding continuously or repeatedly in short period.

#2 Print speed as per ISO/IEC 24734 in default mode.

For All Laser Models:

**1 Monthly Duty Cycle value provides a means of comparison for product robustness in relation to other Canon laser devices and does not refer to actual image output per month.

**2 Toner Cartridge Yield is in accordance with ISO/IEC 19752, ISO/IEC 19798. ISO/IEC 19752/ISO/IEC 19798 is limited to evaluation of Toner Cartridge Yield for toner containing cartridges (i.e., All-in-one toner cartridges and toner cartridges without a photo conductor) for monochrome electrophotographic printers.
