Empowering Life through Photography at Juvenile Homes, Delhi
In 2018, Canon India Involve launched a Photography Certificate Program for children, aged 16-18 years, in collaboration with the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of India. The initiative aims to broaden their horizons and establish prospective careers in photography.
Canon India conducted theoretical and practical workshops for 95 children who were given cameras to explore, experiment and learn. 28 children successfully completed the workshops, passing evaluation tests and received certificates.
