Is the camera dust-resistant / weatherproof / waterproof?

The camera is not dust-resistant, weatherproof, or waterproof.
As the camera is not waterproof, it cannot be used underwater.
Wipe off any water droplets with a dry cloth. If the camera has been exposed to salty air, wipe it with a well-wrung wet cloth.

IMPORTANT

If you accidentally drop the camera into water, promptly consult the nearest Canon Service Center.
