    Solution

If the [Touch Shutter] function is set to [On], you can take shots easily by having the camera focus on your subject and adjust the brightness simply by touching the screen.
(By default, this setting is set to [Off].)
Touch and hold your finger on the screen on the subject you want to bring into focus. When you lift your finger off the screen, the camera will take the shot.
      IMPORTANT
      • The [Touch Shutter] function cannot be used in the following shooting modes.
      - [Smart Shutter] (), [Miniature Effect] ()
      • The Touch Shutter function operates in the same way as when pressing the shutter button, but cannot be used with the following functions:
      - [AF Lock] (), [AE Lock] (), [FE Lock] ()
      • The [Touch Shutter] function can be used in the following shooting modes, but the subject cannot be specified.
      - [Best Image Selection] (), [Fish-eye Effect] (), [Fireworks] (), [Handheld NightScene] ()
      • The [Touch Shutter] function can be used in the following shooting modes, but in these modes the camera will take only one shot each time the screen is touched.
      - [High-speed Burst] (), [Continuous Shooting] ()
      • If the [Focusing Range] is set to [Macro] () or [Infinity] (), using the Touch Shutter function when the AF frame mode is set to [Face Detect] will return the setting to [Normal] ().

      1. Turn the camera on.

      2. The following screen will appear.

      Touch ().
      REFERENCE
If () does not appear, please make the settings as shown below. (Because this function cannot be used with [Smart Shutter] () or [Miniature Effect] (), it will not appear on the screen even with the following settings.)
      1. Touch and hold your finger on one of the icons on the screen.
      2. When [Changes which icons appear and their positions], lift your finger off the screen.
      3. The following screen will appear.
Drag () to the position where you want it to appear. If there is another icon already in that position, it will be replaced with the one you drag there.
      4. Once you have finished moving the icon, touch [Exit].

      3. The following screen will appear.

If () appears, the settings are complete.
