When shooting movies in manual exposure mode, the set lens aperture value moves.

    Solution

When using lenses with variable maximum apertures, the effective aperture is controlled according to the focal length (the zoom position), and the aperture value changes during zooming, even when in manual exposure mode or aperture priority mode. This is normal operation of the lens. However, in EOS 5D Mark II cameras with Version 2.0.3 or 2.0.4 firmware, there were also cases where the aperture set for the lens would exhibit abnormal movement when using some lenses, such as macro lenses. This has been improved in the Version 2.0.7 firmware.
