    Solution

    Autofocus may not work well on the following subjects. In such case, focus manually.



    Manual Focus Adjustment
    Adjust the zoom before you start the procedure.
    1.Push the joystick < > to display the joystick guide.



    2.Select < > [ FOCUS ] and press < ( SET ) >.



    [ MF ] appears on the screen.



    3.Adjust < > the focus as necessary.
    • The focus will be locked.
    • During focus lock, press < ( SET ) > to return the camcorder to autofocus.

    Infinity Focus
    Use this function when you wish to focus on faraway subjects such as mountains or fireworks.
    Instead of step 3 in the previous procedure:

    Push the joystick < > toward [ ] and hold it down.
    • [ ] appears.
    • If you operate the zoom or push the joystick < > and hold it down, [ ] changes to [MF] and the camcorder returns to manual focus.
