    The video camcorder makes a rattling sound when the power is off.

    Solution

      The lens inside the camcorder moves and makes a rattling sound when the power is off.
      This is not a malfunction.
      REFERENCE
      The camcorder is equipped with an optical image stabilizer. As the power is being turned off, the lens inside the camcorder may move and generate a rattling sound.
