    Solution

If printing images taken with a mobile phone, the following restrictions apply.

    If printing wirelessly ([Infrared], [Bluetooth])
    • The maximum file size that can be transmitted is 2 - 3 MB (varies depending on mobile phone).
    • Data transmission time increases when data size is large. Therefore, the amount of time before printing will also increase.
    • Movies, e-mail, address book information, or images attached to an e-mail or downloaded from the Internet cannot be printed.
    • Depending on the mobile phone model you use, images saved on the memory card may not be printed.
    • Printer automatically sets the print orientation.
    • Depending on the paper size you use, the edges of the image may be cropped.
    • The transmission distance by [Infrared] is within 20 cm (Be sure nothing is blocking the signal).
    • The transmission distance by [Bluetooth] is within 10 m.
    • When you use [Bluetooth] to print under the following conditions, even if the transmission distance is within 10 m, transmission may fail or the transmission and printing speeds may decrease.
    - There is an obstacle between the Bluetooth unit and the mobile phone
    - There is interference from magnetic fields, static electricity, or radio waves in the area
    • The date cannot be printed on images sent from a mobile phone.

If printing from a memory card
    • For memory cards requiring an adapter, be sure to first insert the memory card into the adapter before inserting the adapter into the appropriate card slot. If you insert the memory card into a card slot without using an adapter, you may not be able to remove the memory card from SELPHY.
    • Use a memory card formatted in the device used for taking the images. A memory card formatted in the computer may not be recognized.
