Cause and Solution
The setting for [Toner Density] is not appropriate.
Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.
1. Display the [Quality] sheet.
2. Click [Settings].
3. Drag the [Toner Density] slider toward [Dark].
Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.
1. Display the [Quality] sheet.
2. Click [Settings].
3. Clear the [Toner Save] check box.
Depending on the paper type (especially for heavy paper) or the operating environment (especially in a high-humidity environment), fill pattern areas or halftone areas may be missed and cannot be seen clearly.
Perform the following procedure in the printer driver.
1. Display the [Finishing] sheet.
2. Click [Advanced Settings].
3. Set [Special Print Mode] to [Special Settings H1].
Normally, use the printer with [Special Print Mode] set to [Off]. Specify [Special Settings H1] only if the described problems occur.
IMPORTANT
Precautions when specifying [Special Settings H1]
- Print quality may deteriorate depending on the paper type (especially for thin paper) or the operating environment (especially in a low-humidity environment). In this case, do not specify [Special Settings H1].
