Registering the Outside Line Access Number in the R-Key

    Solution


      If your machine is connected through a PBX (Private Branch Exchange), it is necessary to set the access method. If you register the outside line access number in the R-key, you can easily access the outside line.

      1. Press [Menu].

      2. Press [ ] or [ ] to select <SYSTEM SETTINGS>, then press [OK].

      If the System Password has been set, enter the System Password using - [numeric keys], then press [OK].

      3. Press [ ] or [ ] to select <COMMUNICATIONS>, then press [OK].

      4. Press [ ] or [ ] to select <R-KEY SETTINGS>, then press [OK].

      5. Press [ ] or [ ] to select <PSTN> or <PBX>.

      • <PSTN>: Select if your machine is connected to an outside line. If you select <PSTN>, press [OK], then go to step 7.
      • <PBX>: Select if your machine is connected through a PBX. If you select <PBX>, press [OK], then go to the next step.

      6. Enter the prefix code (up to 20 digits) using - [numeric keys], then press [OK].

      7. Press [Stop/Reset] to return to the standby mode.
