and wish to download the designated software
Software that converts images captured by the EOS VR SYSTEM into 180°VR images in equirectangular projection that can be viewed and edited in a VR environment.
Changes for EOS VR Utility 1.1 for macOS :
- Supports EOS R5 C.
Required System Configuration:
To use this software, your computer has to meet the following system requirements.
1. Supported OS
- macOS 12, macOS 11, macOS 10.15
2. Supported computers
A Mac computer supporting the OSes above (Apple Silicon is not supported).
RAM:
- 8 GB or more
3. Display
- Resolution: 1,920x1,080 or higher
Recommended System Configuration:
To enable 30fps playback of 8K/4K MP4 movies shot with EOS R5/EOS R5 C, the following additional configurations are recommended in addition to the above required system configurations.
* Even if the recommended environment is met, it may not be possible to play smoothly.
CPU:
- Intel Xeon W 2.5GHz 14core or greater
RAM:
- 32GB or more
Supported Models
EOS R5 C, EOS R5 (Firmware Ver.1.5.0 or higher)
RF 5.2mm F2.8 L DUAL FISHEYE
- You need to subscribe to a paid plan to use the software. A Canon ID account is required.
- It has been confirmed that time required to export 8K MP4 is 10 to 20 times longer than the MP4 recording time in the environment of CPU: Intel Xeon W 2.5GHz 14core, RAM:32GB.
Please refer to the instructions below on how to download and install the software.
Exit all other applications when installing this software.
1. Download "vum-1-1-0-15-10l.dmg.gz" from the download page.
2. Extract "vum-1-1-0-15-10l.dmg.gz" on the computer to generate "vum-1-1-0-15-10l.dmg".
3. Double-click "vum-1-1-0-15-10l.dmg", and double-click the "VUMInstaller" file in the automatically-mounted disc image "vum11".
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
