How to set High-Speed Continuous Shooting (High-speed Burst) and Group Playback (PowerShot ELPH 330 HS / IXUS 255 HS)

How to set High-Speed Continuous Shooting (High-speed Burst)
You can shoot a series of shots in rapid succession by holding the shutter button all the way down.
You can shoot at a maximum speed of approx. 6.2 images per second.

NOTE
  • The resolution is () (1984 x 1488) and cannot be changed.
  • Focus, image brightness, and color are determined by the first shot.
  • Shooting may stop momentarily or continuous shooting may slow down depending on shooting conditions, camera settings, and the zoom position.
  • As more shots are taken, shooting may slow down.
IMPORTANT
  • The position and shape of the operation buttons, screens displayed, and setting items may differ according to the model you use.

1. Set the mode switch to <>, and press the <Power> button.


2. Press the <FUNC./SET> () button.


3. The following screen appears.



Press the <><> buttons to select the [Shooting mode]. (If no changes have been made to the settings so far, [AUTO] ()will be displayed.)
Press the <FUNC./SET> () button.


4. Press the <><> buttons to choose [High-speed Burst] ().



Press the <FUNC./SET> () button.


5. The following screen appears.



When the icon for the [High-speed Burst] () mode appears in the top-right corner of the screen, the setting is complete.
Hold the shutter button all the way down to shoot continuously.

Viewing Each Image in a Group (Group Playback)
When playing back images, images taken in [High-speed Burst] () mode are displayed in a group with only the first image displayed, however, grouped images can also be viewed individually.
IMPORTANT
If you erase a grouped image, all images in the group are also erased. Be careful when erasing images.
REFERENCE
  • To view images taken in [High-speed Burst] () mode as a group, press the <MENU> (), and then select [On] for [Group Images] in the [Playback Menu] () tab. (By default, [On] is selected.)


1. Choose an image group.



Press the <><buttons to choose an image labeled [ ]
Press the <FUNC./SET> () button.


2. The following screen appears.



Press the <><> buttons to choose [ ], and then press the <FUNC./SET> () button again.


3. The following screen appears.



Pressing the <><> buttons will display only images in the group.
To cancel group playback, press the <FUNC./SET> () button, press the <><> buttons to choose [ ], and then press the <FUNC./SET> () button again.
