    Solution

    You can use the supplied ZoomBrowser EX (for Windows) or ImageBrowser (for Macintosh) software to play back and edit movies captured with your camera.
    This section explains the outline of the movie-editing function.

    How to edit movies using the camera
    With your camera, you can edit out the first and last scenes of a movie in 1-sec. increments. You can save the edited movie files to the camera's memory card.
    For a method on how to edit movies using the camera, please refer to "Editing the Movies with the Camera (Editing the First and Last Scenes of a Movie)".
    In order to join multiple movie files together, or extract a still image from one of the movie scenes, you must download movies to your computer. For the outline of editing movies, please refer to "How to edit movies using a computer (Movie-related Operations of ZoomBrowser EX and ImageBrowser) described below.

    You can edit movies by utilizing the software supplied with your camera.
    The main movie-related operations are as follows.
    For details on operations and operation procedures, please see the ZoomBrowser EX or ImageBrowser Instruction Guide that is supplied with the camera.

    PlayPlaying back captured movies.
    EditConnecting multiple movie files and adding various effects such as inserting titles and background music (BGM). (*)
    CutCutting any scene from a movie and saving it as a separate movie file. For further information, please refer to Cutting your favorite scenes from movies you have transferred to a computer in the Related information section.
    ExportChanging the size or type of a movie and then exporting it as a separate file.
    Extract still imagesExtracting still images from a movie and saving them as JPEG images. For further information, please refer to Extracting still images from a movie with ZoomBrowser EX or ImageBrowser in the Related information section.

    * The camera cannot play back movies that have been edited using this operation.

    REFERENCE
    Same as downloading still images, use the supplied EOS Utility software to download movies to your computer. For details, please refer to the related information section.

    When using these software applications to work with movies, please make sure that your computer meets the following system requirements. If your computer does not meet these requirements, the software applications may not operate properly.
