    Issue

    <Network Board Error> is displayed in the Printer Status Window.

    Cause and Solution

    The power source of the printer has a problem.
    See [The Power Source of the Printer Has a Problem] and take the appropriate measures.

    The LAN connection has a problem.
    Make sure that the printer and computer are connected with the LAN cable properly. [If You Want to Connect the Printer and Computer with a LAN Cable]

    The latest printer driver is not used.
    Update the printer driver to the latest one.
    You can download the latest printer driver from the Canon website (http://canon.com/).

    The printer was set to enter into the unicast communication mode.
    Click the [Refresh] button in the Printer Status Window.

    Access is restricted by MAC Addresses.
    Ask your network administrator about the problem.

    You changed the IP address.
    If you changed the IP address, see [After Changing the IP Address (Changing the Port) (Only for LBP5050N)] and set the port anew.

    The IP address of the printer was changed because you cycled the power of the printer when you were using it in the environment in which the functions of the DHCP server was used.
    Consult your network administrator and perform either of the following settings.
    • Specifying the DNS Dynamic Update function
    • Specifying the settings so that the same IP address is always assigned when the printer starts up
