    The Soul

A slow shutter and some fabulous work at high-ISOs by the R5 allowed me to make this frame of an impala stag drinking at a waterhole in Kenya on a moonless night. I call it the Soul as that's what it feels like with the trail left due to the slow shutter.

The Keoladeo Park in Bharatpur, India is probably the most enchanting of water worlds that I have had the pleasure to experience. Having witnessed many winters here, I keep looking forward to the winter fog that seemingly protects the place. This image kind of represents the place to me.

Elephants in Amboseli, Kenya make this journey across the dry lakebed every single day in search of water, and in years like 2022 when there is a drought, it becomes all the tougher. The dance of death and life would not be complete without us humans, as we affect so much of the world around us. Hence the vehicle being there at the right moment completed the frame for me. A low angle was needed to have the impact I feel.
