Cause and Solution
The lock switch holding the scanning unit is not released completely.
Disconnect the interface cable from the scanner and release the lock switch completely.
Unlocking the Scanner
The scanner driver is not installed correctly.
1. Check if the scanner is correctly selected in the application.
2. If the scanner is not listed in the application, the driver is not installed properly. Uninstall and reinstall the driver and then reconnect the scanner.
Selecting a Scanner (ArcSoft PhotoStudio)
In this example, CanoScan LiDE600F will be selected in ArcSoft PhotoStudio.
1. Start ArcSoft PhotoStudio.
2. Select [Select Source] from the [File] menu.
