A new standard Speedlite with a wireless flash function, that retains a flash effective range of guide number 43m (ISO 100) in a smaller, lighter, many-featured form. It is compatible with both radio and optical transmission flash photography. Under radio transmission, it can function as either a master or slave flash unit and is able to control up to 15 slave units. It has a transmission distance of 30m, which makes it possible for the slave units to be positioned freely. Under optical transmission, it can also be used as a slave unit, within a transmission range of 15m. Its 172×72 dot matrix LCD rear screen enables the high-definition display of detailed information. It also has tremendously enhanced operability thanks to the inclusion of a wheel-type select dial. The settable bounce angle has a coverage of up to 180° right and up to 150° left, providing it with increased flexibility. It also comes with a built-in catch light panel and wide panel. With the bundled new bounce adapter and colour filter, an even richer range of expression is possible even for portrait photography indoors.
